Accountant needed for the Triangle

The Triangle has a vacancy available for a voluntary position as its Accountant.

This is an important role, involving up to one day per week.

Some accountancy experience is required and training will be provided.

Building Work in Old School

Please continue to keep children out of the car park at the rear of Old School.

Delays in completing the ground works mean that there is still a big hole out there!

Also, the back door to Old School will be out of use until the work is completed.

The new Vicar for St Paul’s is Announced!

Our new vicar is called Claire Holt. She has been an associate minister within the diocese and the Bishop and Archdeacon both speak very highly of her.

Claire is very much looking forward to joining the Church as our new leader. She is extremely positive about the opportunities she sees here to reach out even more into the Village and has very practical ideas about how to achieve this.

Claire trained as a primary teacher and taught part-time while bringing up her family. Claire has three children; Louise is studying at Winchester University where she is in her 2nd year, Sarah is in the upper sixth and hopes to go to Uni in September, Daniel is in Yr 8 and is a keen Judo competitor. Claire is married to Stephen and they celebrate their 25th anniversary next year.

Stephen works for IBM as an IT architect and is looking forward to being a close neighbour of The Hogs Back Brewery!

Step by Step – Christmas Concert: Thu 8th Dec 7.30pm

Mince pies and refreshments will be available after the concert and a raffle will be held.

Wake Up & Shake Up!

is the name of our new interactive all-age service on the first Sunday on the month.

It includes all-age songs, craft, story, prayers and generally more noise as we have fun worshipping God together!

We kick off with refreshments in church at 9.45am and will finish by 11am.

If this is not your cup of tea, just a reminder that there is a quieter said communion service beforehand at 8am in church.
